Jesus loves London. We do too.

Redeemer is made up of people who love Jesus, love London and love Ealing.
Join us on the journey, as we explore how this plays out, practically and spiritually, in daily life.

The adventure goes far back in time, to when our Creative God made this good, beautiful world and beings like him to populate it - full of creative spark, insightful intelligence and relational to the core. We chose to go our own way, breaking the perfect friendship we'd enjoyed.

But God had a plan. He came into the world to offer a chance to restore that friendship. Instead of accepting the invitation, we chose to kill him, on a cross... a criminal’s death.

But death couldn't hold the Creator of Life! Jesus rose out of the tomb as if getting out of bed and opened the door for all humanity to follow him or go our own way. He is now waiting, inviting each person to make their choice.

One day, he will perfectly renew the whole earth and his friendship with those who follow him. He sends his Spirit now to envision us with the restoration of good for our world, our relationships and our identity.  Until then, Redeemer exists to invite people to follow him and live whole lives as friends of God.

Redeemer is led by Pete Cornford who has been involved in leading churches for more than 20 years.

Pete met his wife Nicky and fell in love whilst training to be school teachers at University. After training as a primary school teacher, Pete joined the staff of New Community Church in South East London, before going on to work for The Beacon Church in Camberley. In 2002 the family moved to the London Borough of Hillingdon to start The Crown Church.

In 2012 Pete and Nicky felt called to start a brand new church here in Ealing. The family made the move and began gathering a small band of pioneers in their home, growing into what we call Redeemer today.

Nicky continues to work as a primary school teacher. They have 3 children - Josh, Lois and Isaac and the whole family support Arsenal. You can follow Pete on twitter @petecornford.

Our church is passionate about serving families and helping them to build sustainable lives to stay and thrive in the city. We feel honoured to come alongside families as children are guided to Christ and inspired to live out the way of Jesus.

Information on our age groups can be found here: http://redeemerlondon.org/sundays/

All of our age groups are taught from a curriculum called 'The Gospel Project'. Each group teaches the same story/ theme each week. This enables families to talk and pray at home about what they have learnt each week. Click here to find out more: https://www.gospelproject.com/kids/

Newfrontiers has grown and evolved, so Redeemer is now part of the Advance church planting network, a global movement of churches partnering together to advance the Gospel through planting and strengthening churches. The name Advance is a practical way of describing our partnership, and expresses our primary purpose of taking new ground for the Gospel in small towns and large cities throughout the world.

We love being part of the Advance family because…

We value doing mission in relationship with like-minded churches, partnering together in the gospel.

We desire to be part of something that’s bigger than just ourselves; we can accomplish more together than we can apart.

We think it’s a good idea to be accountable and to learn from others that know us well, as it provides strength, safety and support.

We want to share in the privilege of training, resourcing, and sending people to the nations of the world. Redeemer personally assists the Advance UK Church Planting Course.
