What makes Redeemer feel like home?

The Bible is packed full of references to how church is far more than a building or place of worship.

At Redeemer, we are a thriving community of people who support one another and grow in faith together.

But what makes our church feel like home? We asked you for your thoughts – and this is what you told us:

‘The vibrant community where everyone is welcomed and valued. Meeting in Gospel Communities where we can sit together and chat over cups of tea midweek. People genuinely care for one another and are always willing to offer support. The strong sense of belonging, friendship and encouragement across all ages and backgrounds.’

Grace

‘At Redeemer, people care for one another here in real and practical ways — celebrating together in joyful seasons and supporting each other through difficult ones.’

Luciana

‘Redeemer is home to me because of its unfailing community, constant preaching of truth and that everyone is welcome - from all walks of life.’

Hinrika

‘The acceptance of ideas at the Alpha classes and the flexibility of the three services and the Gospel Communities make Redeemer feel like home.’

Tim

‘The way they accept you and love you, warts and all, with no judgement.’
